What do you do for work? I have worked as a matatu operator for one year so far.
Before working with Haki Data Lab, had you ever collected data before? I have experience in data collection, which has helped me develop strong attention to detail and organizational skills. My background as a matatu operator has also strengthened my ability to interact with people, adapt quickly, and observe patterns.
Tell us about your “superpowers”! Everyone has one, what are yours? I’m good at writing, organizing and have an ability to guide young people. I’m aesthetic too! My friends and family often describe me as calm, reliable, and observant. They see me as someone who brings a positive vibe, stays composed even under pressure, and genuinely connects with people.
What brings you joy in your daily life? Connecting with people and creating meaningful moments, whether it’s through work, family, or friends. I also find joy in expressing myself through fashion and creativity, and in pushing myself to grow and improve every day.
Share a memory that makes you proud of yourself! A memory that makes me proud of myself is the first time I managed to handle a tough day as a matatu operator without losing my calm. It reminded me that I can stay composed under pressure, adapt quickly, and still treat people with respect no matter the situation.
